Many of Docketly's clients want to ensure coverage attorneys are knowledgeable and prepared enough to appear on their behalf. They require attorneys to demonstrate knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"). For these clients, you will be blocked from covering hearings for them unless you do so on a yearly basis.

Through a partnership with a nationally recognized FDCPA Certification facilitator, Docketly is providing our network attorneys the opportunity to be FDCPA certified for a discounted rate of only $19.99. The course is comprehensive and efficient and takes a very short amount of time. Completion of this course will certify you for one year. Subsequent certification renewals cost $14.99 and require completion of a test.

CLE credits may be earned upon completion of this course.

You get a certification badge, which is visible to our clients and shows a higher level of professionalism to them. Clients can choose certain attorneys as favorites for coverage, which means getting notified sooner than others.

Earn your FDCPA Certification and Badge today. Full information is at this link: https://docketly.com/attorney/fdcpa

You will receive 5000 points for completing the course.

If you have any troubles accessing the FDCPA website or haven't received your login credentials, please contact Mail@Docketly.com or call us at (800)-910-1492

FDCPA Awareness or an FDCPA Certification will be required in order to cover Collection hearings after April 1st 2022.

Attorneys can access this from their Docketly Home page.

When newly registered lawyers log in to Docketly, they will encounter a notification window. Within this notification window, attorneys have the option to either declare their awareness of FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) or access additional details on the process of obtaining certification.

Should the initial pop-up go unnoticed, a banner will appear on the homepage, offering attorneys a direct link to the page where they can update their FDCPA status.

More information on the CLE credits

The FDCPA Certification Course has been approved as a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course in the states of Colorado and Texas for 4 credit hours, including 1.5 hours of ethics. Colorado has reciprocity with many other states, including those listed below.

Reciprocity offers attorneys licensed in one state the opportunity to earn credit through participation in approved out-of-state educational courses.

Important: We cannot guarantee that our course will earn you credit in your state. It is your responsibility to contact your state bar and make sure the credits will be honored. Also, information on reciprocity for CLE courses may change at any time. Please go here for a list of bar association administrators and their direct contact information.

For some resources on state-by-state CLE accreditation guides and sample forms, please visit this site.

States with Colorado Reciprocity: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Check with your state about receiving credits for this course.

Regardless, the information and status you get from the certification is well worth the time and small amount of money in itself.
