If the date, time, or location of a hearing changes, you will need to update this information on our website. Follow the steps below to edit your uncovered hearing.
If your hearing has already been selected for coverage by one of our network attorneys, you cannot change the hearing date, time, or location. In this case, you will need to cancel and repost your hearing at the new information. There is an Clone a Hearing option that will allow you to quickly repost the hearing.
To edit a hearing you will need to locate and edit the correct hearing. To find the hearing, click the orange "Hearings" button on the left-hand side of the screen. (If you recently posted the hearing, you might also be able to easily access it through the "Hearing Activities" widget on your home screen. This widget displays hearings with the most recently posted first.)
You are now on the Client Hearing List Page, this page will give you access to all hearings, past, and present, that you have posted to our site. Locate the hearing you wish to modify. To refine your search, you can filter by Locator number, Hearing Date, Case Name, Your File Number, Court Cause Number, or the Type of hearing. Simply type your filter in the box provided beneath the appropriate heading. Once you have located the desired hearing, click on the underlined locator number to access it.
You are now on the Hearing Overview Page. Click the orange "Edit" button in the upper left corner. This will take you to the Hearing Edit Page.
Locate the Hearing Date and change it to the new time. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the orange "Save" button for your time change to be saved.
Once you have done this, please notify a staff member so that we can re-notify our network of attorneys.
Please note that if you have a bundle of hearings you must edit each hearing in the bundle: For example, changing the price or waiving insurance for a hearing in the bundle will only affect the hearing you are editing. You must edit each hearing individually in the bundle for the change(s) to affect all hearing in the bundle.
